Queens Historical Society's unique style of “community storytelling” links performing arts students from local colleges with middle and high school performers in the inspiring Ashanti legend of “QUEEN YAA ASANTEWA AND THE GOLDEN STOOL”.  K-12 Standards will come alive through royal regalia, spirited dance, and masterful storytelling.

  • Learn about the royal “Kente” cloth of Ashanti Kings and Queens
